About

 In October 2017, I was 47 years old, over 270 pounds, and in terrible shape.  I also worked in Manhattan two blocks away from the world famous Renzo Gracie Academy.  It had always been on my bucket list to have an amateur fight; so I went over for a trial class and I was immediately hooked.

i became obsessed with all things Jiu Jitsu, dropped 60 pounds, competed in many tournaments, and met some of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  I still love all things jiu jitsu and train (and compete) regularly.

I am not a teacher for any school - I simply enjoy working with people new to jiu jitsu and helping them start along their path.
